Narrows Top-Down Shuttle
This shuttle is for the “Top-Down” 17-mile day hike, or moderately paced overnight hike, it is a great wilderness adventure and requires permits, often sold out 3 months ahead. This is a sought after trip and worth the effort, pre-trip planning and expense. Though not recommended as your first backpacking experience, it is breathtaking to spend the night in the canyon.
Chamberlain’s Ranch trailhead is the primary shuttle stop for the Zion Narrows, Top-Down hike. Our shuttle will pick you up inside Zion National Park (ZNP) at the main flagpole next to the ZNP Visitor Center and parking lot. This way you can leave your vehicle in the ZNP parking lot for your return.

Departure times: 6:00am/9:30am
Price: $60.00 per person*
Rain within 12 hrs of your scheduled departure time will result in a canceled shuttle and refund (no exceptions, the road becomes impassible)

The group leader must bring valid NPS park pass, ID and Narrows Top-Down permit.
Shuttles depart daily (May 31 - Oct 31) at 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., as weather and road conditions permit. Typical drive time is 1:30 depending on traffic and road conditions.
Parking inside the ZNP Visitor Center is usually full by 9:00 a.m., If you plan on riding on our 9:30 a.m. shuttle please make sure to arrive early in order to find parking.
Late Departures - Arriving at your shuttle departure more than 15 minutes from your confirmed departure time may result in shuttle cancellation with no refund.
Please arrive early and give yourself time to park
It is the shuttle drivers discretion if the road is impassable. 14 miles of the road is not paved and is impassable when wet.
If you are prone to motion sickness, please wear a motion band or bring ginger chews.
