Hi! My name is Alex

My parents took me camping (mostly around California and Arizona) just about every weekend from as far back as I can remember. We also moved residence often. So much so that were able to explore pretty much every corner of the Southwest. We first visited Zion in 1989 and became enamored, it became our second home. We came so frequently that I consider Springdale my childhood home.

These trips influenced my appreciation for landscapes, including flora and fauna. This eventually led to my interest in landscape design and landscape painting. Creating and working from memory and imagination has been my goal since. I hope to inspire others to stay creative throughout their own journey!
