Guided Zion Narrows

The Zion Narrows Tour

All guided tours that take place at trailheads on the scenic drive (Narrows tour and half/full day scenic hikes) are now required to use the National park shuttle system. Private shuttles are no longer permitted to access the scenic drive.

If you are staying in the town of Springdale UT where we are located, we are happy to pick you up at your place of lodging for no additional cost!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING A NARROWS TOUR!

Zion Narrows Bottom-Up hike is an amazing experience, even if you go on your own, and for most, that is the way to go.  Before BOOKING, please consult with your group to see if a guide is necessary. We help thousands go on their own each year, but for those who want the extra safety and educational value of having a guide, we are happy to make the tour happen. Despite certain restrictions set forth on tour companies by Zion National Park, a Guru Day in the Narrows can prove to be exceptional.

Reasons you may book the Narrows Guided Tour:

  1. I am a beginner hiker and want help in the river navigating and choosing the right crossings

  2. I am a good hiker but need help with my family or group members who are beginners

  3. I want to learn a lot more about the geology of Zion, its natural history, flora, and fauna.

The Guru Narrows Tour is private to you and your guide, However, we share the river with MANY other self-guided hikers. We travel together by shuttle or our van, seasonally dependent, and venture beyond the Riverside Walk as far as the junction with Orderville Canyon, approximately 5-6 miles round trip. (NPS requires Guided Narrows tours to turn around at the junction of Orderville Canyon.)

We delve deep in the geologic story of Zion, human and natural history, and highlight many significant moments in the 18 million year timeline of the Narrows.  Along the way, there are many moments of learning, but also a great deal of fun, reflection and meditation, and photography galore.
